JAIL MINISTRY
It began in 2004 when Pastor Galen was invited by a graduate to conduct a crusade in the Old Quezon Provincial Jail. It became a weekly ministry, reaching out to the inmates. Over 20 years, the ministry expanded to six more jails: Quezon District Jail, Pagbilao District Jail, Candelaria Jail, San Juan Municipal Jail, and the Lucena District Jail female and male dorms.
Many persons deprived of liberty (PDL) came to Christ; some became members of CFM Church, and others even became pastors.
The CFM Jail Ministry has also visited and ministered to the National Bilibid Prison, Sablayan Penal Colony, Correctional Institution for Women, and other provincial and municipal jails across the Philippines.
Today, CFM has received many citations and awards from the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), a testament to its consistent work in transforming lives and making Christ known inside jails and prisons. Truly, CFM embodies Matthew 25:36 — “I was in prison, and you came to visit me…”
